Student Stories: Denise Dennis

AMSNY runs four statewide post baccalaureate programs that enable students from populations historically underrepresented in medicine to realize their dreams of becoming physicians. The New York State Department of Health provides essential support for these programs through grant funding, and New York’s medical schools provide exceptional learning opportunities to ensure that our future physician workforce mirrors the diversity of all New Yorkers.

Meet Denise Dennis, who completed the post-baccalaureate program at the University at Buffalo, and the faculty who helped her on her way to becoming Dr. Dennis.
