AAMC Study Co-Authored by Einstein Faculty Examines Career Trends Among M.D.-Ph.D. Program Graduates
A new study published by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), coauthored by Einstein’s Myles Akabas, M.D., Ph.D., finds that most graduates of M.D.-Ph.D. programs continue in work consistent with their training-conducting research, developing new diagnostics, devices and treatments, and helping train the next generation of scientists and clinicians. Albany Medical College Holds 2018 Commencement Ceremonies
Albany Medical College awarded 225 degrees during commencement ceremonies at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Medical degrees (M.D.) were awarded to 148 students. In addition, 18 students received Master of Science degrees in Nurse Anesthesiology, 40 received Master of Science degrees in Physician Assistant Studies, and five received either Master of Science or doctoral degrees in the biomedical sciences. Albert Einstein College of Medicine Celebrates its 60th Commencement
On May 24th, Albert Einstein College of Medicine conferred 159 M.D. and 21 Ph.D. degrees as it celebrated its 60th commencement at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center. In addition, 13 graduates of Einstein’s Medical Scientist Training Program received both an M.D. and Ph.D. degree. Learn more.
