The Associated Medical Schools of New York (AMSNY) seeks applications for AMSNY Scholars in Medicine & Science for the program year beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027. Eligible entities include medical schools in New York State, academic institutions affiliated with medical schools in New York State and other nonprofit organizations affiliated with medical schools in New York State. For the 2026-27 program year, AMSNY will award three grant types: Competitive Grants, Post-Baccalaureate Continuation Grants and President’s Grants.
Competitive Grants
AMSNY Competitive Grants are awarded through a competitive call for applications. Previously granted and novel applicants are encouraged to apply.
Post-Baccalaureate Continuation Grants
AMSNY Post-Baccalaureate Continuation Grants extend support for ongoing post-baccalaureate/master’s degree programs that offer conditional acceptance to referring medical schools upon successful completion of the program. Previously granted post-baccalaureate/master’s programs with a successful track record of two or more years of AMSNY support are eligible to apply.
President’s Grants
AMSNY President’s Grants are by invitation only.
