We’re incredibly proud to announce that Jennifer Tassler, Vice President for Government Relations and Strategic Affairs of the Associated Medical Schools of New York has been named to City & State’s 2025 Who’s Who in Government Relations list! 

Tassler helped secure $11.7 million since 2018 for New York Fund for Innovation in Research and Scientific Talent (NYFIRST), a state program for recruiting and retaining scientific talent that has spurred $107.4 million in institutional investments over that same time period. In the first four years of this program, the State has enabled the medical schools to recruit or retain 12 outstanding scientists, creating more than 150 new jobs with an average salary of $78,000. 

Tassler also represents the affiliated New York State Academic Dental Centers (NYSADC)—a sister organization, and led efforts to include Medicaid reimbursement for dental providers.
