Obinna Ndum, the son of Nigerian immigrants, graduates this year from Stony Brook University School of Medicine with an MD/MBA combined degree. He is the very first graduate in the School of Medicine’s history to ever receive such a degree.
He has been accepted into a residency in the Emergency Medicine program at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where he plans to advance his medical career.

From 2007-2008, Dr. Ndum was referred and enrolled into the 12-month Post-Baccalaureate Program at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, where he received formal mentoring, advising, and a tailored curriculum to prepare him for medical school.
